To travel is to live

The 20 min. Performance was part of the Geist Glorup opening at Glorup Gods in 2013. The title To Travel is to Live refers to the quote by the famous danish Author H.C. Andersen. I was dressed like H.C. Andersen too, mimicking his iconic tall hat. The Performance was to be seen and experienced as an H.C. Andersen paraphrase. I climbed down a robe thrown from a window and went to the castle-lake, where I folded a boat out of cardboard in scale 7 x 10 meters. I then tried to row the boat to a small island in the lake, it did not succeed and the boat sank close to shore.
