Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to goods purchased online at petercallesen.com.

Payment

Payment can be made using the following payment methods: VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, and Apple Pay. Upon ordering, payment will be reserved on your account in accordance with the terms of your card until we process or reject the payment. For further information, please refer to your agreement with your card issuer. For payment with a credit card: If multiple items are ordered in one order, and one or more of the items cannot be shipped immediately, we will only charge for the item(s) when they are dispatched.

Delivery

The standard delivery time is between 2 and 9 days for delivery within Denmark. Orders are picked up for delivery once a week. In Denmark, GLS is used for delivery, and internationally, DHL Express is used. Delivery time depends on the destination. Subject to typographical errors, out-of-stock items, delivery failures, as well as price and tax changes.

Order Confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation with a tracking number when your order is confirmed and processed for dispatch. However, this does not imply that the package has already been shipped.

Right of Withdrawal

You can withdraw your purchase without providing a reason within 14 days. If you have purchased multiple items in one order, you can choose to withdraw the purchase of some or all items.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you, or a person you have chosen (other than the carrier), physically receive the goods. If you have ordered multiple batches or parts, the withdrawal period starts from when you receive the last batch or part physically.

If the deadline falls on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve, the deadline is extended to the next business day.

How to Withdraw

You withdraw by clearly notifying us that you are withdrawing by sending an email to assistant@petercallesen.com. You cannot withdraw by refusing to receive the goods or by failing to collect them without simultaneously notifying us of your withdrawal. The withdrawal deadline is met if you send your notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Return of Goods and Return Costs

If you have withdrawn the purchase of an item, you must send the item to Peter Callesen, Næssundvej 488, 7969 Karby no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you return the goods before the expiration of the 14 days. Goods cannot be sent cash on delivery or without delivery. You must bear the cost of returning the item.

Refund of Money on Withdrawal

When you withdraw within the 14 days, we will refund all payments received from you, including any delivery costs. If you have purchased multiple items in one order and only withdraw part of your purchase, we will not refund the delivery costs. We will refund the amount when we have received the goods in unbroken packaging. We will make such a refund using the same payment method you used in the original transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any case, you will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.

Condition of Goods upon Return and Packaging

You are only liable for any depreciation of the value of an item resulting from handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. You must return the item in its original packaging. The packaging may be opened but not damaged. If the packaging is missing or damaged, it may constitute a depreciation for which you are liable. You should also ensure that the item is securely packaged when returning it. You bear the risk of the package/goods until we receive them. Therefore, keep the postal receipt and any tracking number.

Return Policy

We offer a return policy within 30 days. The return policy is conditional on the item being returned to us unused, in unbroken packaging, and in undamaged condition. You pay for the return. The return policy does not affect your statutory right to withdraw the purchase, as described above. The return policy runs from the time of purchase.

Complaints – If There Is Something Wrong with the Item

The rules of the Sale of Goods Act apply to the purchase of items. You have a 2-year warranty if the item has a defect. A defect includes manufacturing or material defects, or incorrect information about the item. However, normal wear and tear or damage you have caused to the item are not defects.

If the item has a defect, and you complain in a timely manner, you initially have the right to have the item repaired or replaced. If that cannot be done, or it does not happen within a reasonable time, you may, under the circumstances, receive a refund or a price reduction. If you discover a defect, you must complain to us within a reasonable time. We recommend that you complain as soon as possible, especially if there is damage during transport. If the complaint is justified, we will refund your reasonable and necessary shipping costs. Therefore, keep your receipt. If you want to complain to us about a defect, please provide as much detail as possible about the problem. It is not a requirement, but it makes it easier for us to find the error, and it minimizes the processing time for the complaint. Send the item securely packaged.

Options for Complaints

If we cannot agree on what you are entitled to, you have the following options for complaints: A complaint about a product or service can be submitted to Nævnenes Hus, the Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg via the Complaint Portal for Nævnenes Hus. The Mediation Team will attempt to resolve the dispute through mediation, and if a solution cannot be found, you can bring the complaint to the Consumer Complaints Board. As a general rule, it is a prerequisite for filing a complaint that the item or service you want to complain about costs at least DKK 1,110 and at most DKK 100,000. For complaints about clothing and shoes, the price should be at least DKK 720 as a starting point. The monetary limits may be changed. You must pay a fee to have the complaint processed.

The EU Commission's online complaint portal can also be used when filing a complaint. It is particularly relevant for consumers residing in another EU country.
