Hullet
2014
3 x 3 x 25 m.
The installation mimes the piled-up tree trunks at Næstved Habour. I am very inspired by the power and brutality the tree trunks represent. The idea behind Hullet was to create an image that refers to the beauty and the sculptural elements of stacking the tree trunks, while at the same time creating a surprising and poetic moment with the circular hole that interferes with the structure of the pile.
Hullet was part of the contemporary art festival Gangart arranged by Næstved Kommune in 2014
